It uses an uncoated water-dyed vegetable tanning process , which involves using imported plant tannins combined with natural oils to tan the leather, and then using environmentally friendly water-based dyes to allow it to slowly penetrate and color. The leather surface has no coating, allowing it to breathe naturally and feel very organic.
Tanning standards require 2 to 3 months just for tanning a single piece of leather, which is 12 times longer than the usual chrome tanning time. After tanning, it must go through drum tumbling, resulting in a leather grain that looks plump and feels oily and soft, making it very comfortable to touch.
